1. Secretary

• Approve 8/25/25 Meeting Minutes

 

2. Treasurer

• Nothing currently to report 

 

3. Fundraising 

• Fall Fundraiser: Viking Quest Recap
  • Good event; low expenses, raised $3950-$4000
• Spring Fundraiser - Mouse Races?
• Restaurant Nights- Psghetti’s- $300 earned! Chick Fil A- 10/14 (Must use app to order and get % back) - Ricos Tacos 11/24 - all day proceeds 10%
• Spirit Wear- There will be a November sale. 5th Grade shirts will be in this sale. More info to follow.
• Viking Coin Quest coming 11/10-11/14
• City 2 Game- Uthoff’s final number was 131 tickets which is $655 back to the school.

-This means that Uthoff will be receiving a custom CITY SC jersey! 

• Cade Cooper from the St. Louis Blues reached out about a possible fundraising event at Enterprise Center for a STL Blues Game.
  • Possible game 1/27 more details to follow - Uthoff Valley will get a discounted rate on tickets. They will block tickets in 2-3 sections for families to choose from.

• Birthday Buddies Update-

Gift Card Update: Parent donations can only consist of gift cards, not money for PTO to purchase them.

• Stock the Lounge Update: 
  • 5th Grade sponsored last month's stock lounge. 
  • 4th Grade is up this month! 
  • A lot of great feedback from teachers and staff about how awesome it has been!
• Fall Party Planning- Horns Up Hands In- Thursday, 10/23 6-8 pm
• Parent Teacher Conference dinners (Sauce on the Side & Qdoba)
• Buzz Book - 
  • Available for parents
  • You can find this on Parent Square under links. If you open the email it will also save to Google Drive
• Current Volunteer Needs
  • Nothing at this time

 

5. Events 

• Trunk or Treat- 10/24/25
  • Currently 15 trunks
  • 85 for food

 

6. Caring School Community (CSC) 

• All Pro Dad: 
  • Last meeting was on October 1st! Great turnout, The next meeting will be 12/3/25 at 6:15 pm
• Dude Crew: 
  • Next meeting 11/5/2025 - This will be a social and held at Trueman’s Place

4. Presidents’ Report 

• Friday Folders:  if you need items sent home in Friday Folders, please have them in the bins in the workroom by Thursday before noon, if possible.
• Teacher Grants:  We have $2500 budgets for teacher grants. Danna sent out guidelines and applications. The exec board will vote on approving Teacher Grants at the November 10th PTO meeting.
• Donation to PROP S: The exec board voted and approved a donation of $200 to the PROP S Campaign.
• Discussion of buying a Volleyball net - Danna will research 
• The next President’s forum meeting will be 10/22/25 9:30-11:30 am at the Rockwood Administration Annex- All board members are invited to attend. We need to have at least 1 rep from our school at each meeting.
• President’s Forum Recap:

1. Dr. Cain presented on Prop S. List of guidelines that PTO’s must follow during an election.
2. We will review our By Laws at our next board meeting.
3. President/Treasurer Training: 
   1. Suggested that all checks require 2 signatures. 
   2. Do we have a PTO debit card?
   3. Contracts- any contracts that we sign with vendors need to be reviewed and signed by a member of the executive board. Executive board is: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and VP of Fundraising.
   4. Lots of discussion about tax reimbursement. We need to look at the list of retailers we use to buy items for PTO events.
   5. Amazon account for 501 c3- need to discuss creating an account to get the tax free benefits.
   6. ZEFFY- a 100% free platform for nonprofits. Other PTO’s use this and love it.
