Uthoff Valley PTO Meeting Minutes 

 

Tuesday June 17, 2025 @ 6:00 pm

Board – Amy Leon, Sara Parisotto, Lindsey Wurglitsh, Lauren Hoggatt, Lindsey Marsala, Ashley Newport, Kaitlyn H, Meagan Schmit

• Budget - Ashley will send out once updated
• Suggestions/discussion for ways to spend down budget:
• Front of School Art Work 

• Volleyball net on playground
• Outdoor classroom clean up
• Boutique Refresh
• Parent/Teacher Survey for suggestions of what to spend on

• Get Square Terminal set up with multiple users (President/Vice President/Treasurer/Fundraising/Danna/Lauren)
• Canva will renew on 7/23/25

 

3. Fundraising 

• Spirit Wear - sale will start in August- We will sell cash and carry items at Meet the Teacher nights. Mandy Gan will be heading this up.
• We will implement the Spirit Wear Recycle Program again this year
• Fall Fundraiser/Direct Donation
  • Discuss what we want it to look like for next school year. We discussed family event: cornhole, pickleball, food trucks, yard games, fundraising activities etc. 
  • Fundraising goal
• Spring Fundraiser - looking into dates
• Restaurant Nights- We can start to get these booked on the calendar after going over dates tonight. 
• St. Louis City 2 Game- 9/28/25 @ 4 pm

 

4. Events 

• October: Trunk or Treat
• December: Winter WonderFest
• May: Swing a Round

 

5. Caring School Community (CSC) 

• First Day Celebration- 
• Dude Crew- Suggest setting monthly meetings on the opposite months there is All Pro Dad.
• Fall Event: this can coincide with Fall Fundraiser
• Winter Wonderfest: Take on a component of this event.
• Spring Event: Family Game Night

 

6. Support 

• Volunteer Sign Ups- meet the teacher nights/ 1st day celebration

3. Team Leader spreadsheet- advertise and fill team leads needed in the fall.

important dates, volunteer QR codes, FB pages, spirit wear etc.

2. First Day Celebration Presentation - this will be shared with you once Amy and Sarah update. We will present on the 1st day.
