Fundraising
Fundraising is an important part of our duty as a supportive PTO. Money raised throughout the school year is used to purchase equipment and educational tools, plus fund facility improvements that are in addition to Uthoff Valley's operating budget.
In addition, the PTO uses donated money to operate its many service programs and to fully or partially subsidize the events it hosts.
The following is a list of fundraising opportunities offered by PTO throughout the school year:
"Count Me In" Cash Donation Program
What?
Count Me In is Uthoff Valley's direct donation campaign for contributing to the PTO budget, which funds and supports programs and activities such as the birthday book cart, field trip transportation, teacher grants, reading week, field day and PTO sponsored events like Trunk or Treat, Winter Wonderfest, Family Game Night, and All Pro Dads. Recent examples of PTO purchases include new library shelving, classroom furniture for the intermediate classrooms, new audio visual equipment for the gymnasium, sunshade for the playground and so much more!
When?
While donations can be made to PTO throughout the year, the Count Me In program will be advertised and accepting donations from September 3rd to October 25th in hopes to meet our goal of $10,000! We will have a school wide celebration if this awesome goal is met! Be on the lookout for special raffle incentives…one raffle ticket for each $20 that is donated! Any donation is greatly appreciated and contributes towards the overall goal.
How?
- Complete the Count Me In form (distributed in early September in Friday Folders!) and submit with your check. Checks should be made payable to UV PTO

Spring Fundraiser
This adult-only event is held off school grounds and is UV PTO's largest fundraiser, plus it's always a great time! Save the Date: April 11th 2025 at Andre’s West in Fenton! Catch up with old friends and make new ones, and treat yourself or your family to some great gifts and experiences from the silent auction.
Restaurant Nights
Take a night off from cooking at home! Come and join your fellow Uthoff Valley families and dine out for a percentage of sales to be donated back to Uthoff Valley. Check the Viking Voice for the next restaurant night!
Recent Accomplishments

- Uthoff Valley Viking Backdrop for photo opportunities
- Uthoff Valley Pop-Up Tent for outdoor events
- Classroom furniture for 3rd, 4th and 5th grades
- Gaga Ball Pits and mats for the playground

- Audiovisual equipment for the gymnasium

- In addition to these major purchases, PTO also provides:
- Extra funds to teacher classrooms for supplies
- Subsidizes all or part of most UV events, such as Fall Festival, Winter Wonderful, Variety Show, Bingo Night, All Pro Dads and Fun Fair
